She started teaching, training and judging in the 1950s, got her little R in Hunters and Hunter Seat Equitation and eventually became a registered judge with the USEF, now holding Big R for decades. She is also an approved judge with the Welsh pony and Cob Society and has judged all over the country and in Bermuda.
She is a member of the United States Equestrian Federation, the US Hunter and Jumper Assoc., the Welsh Pony & Cob Society Assoc., a long time member of the Eastern PA Chapter of the PHA, the Eastern Pennsylvania Professional Horsemen’s Assoc., a past member of Pennsylvania Horse Show Assoc., the Radnor Hunt Club and is also a Board member of Ryerss Home for Retired Horses.
Over the last decade she enjoyed taking trips out west to a ranch near Jackson Hole. She rode all over the Gran Tetons, went on cattle drives, did team penning and warmed up cutting horses for a friend and then rode turn back while he cut.
We’re proud of you mom!
